EXCHANGES & RETURNS

Our Promise

Your AAM piece is made specially for you—not mass-produced, not sitting in a warehouse. If something goes wrong on our end, we fix it. No questions, no friction.


THE BASICS

Exchange Window: 7 days from delivery date
Condition: Item must be unworn, unwashed, in original packaging
No Refunds: We offer exchanges only (this keeps costs down and margins honest)
Free Pickup: We'll collect your return from your address at no cost


WHAT QUALIFIES FOR EXCHANGE

✓ Yes, We'll Exchange

Manufacturing defects:

  • Stitching errors or loose seams
  • Significant print flaws (color bleeding, missing areas, registration misalignment)
  • Fabric damage from production (holes, stains, weave issues)
  • Damaged or broken tags/packaging received

Fit issues:

  • Size runs differently than expected
  • Garment damaged in transit (holes, tears, stains from shipping)

✗ No, We Won't Exchange

Change of mind:

  • You don't like the design anymore
  • You prefer a different aesthetic
  • You ordered on impulse

Fit preference:

  • You prefer looser/tighter fit (sizing chart wasn't followed)
  • You changed your mind about oversized vs fitted

Wear & tear:

  • Item has been worn or washed
  • Minor print imperfections (slight fading, edge inconsistencies)—these are part of screen-printing and acceptable within craft standards
  • Natural aging of fabric

Sale items:

  • All sale stock is final sale—no exchanges, no exceptions

HOW TO REQUEST AN EXCHANGE

Step 1: Email Us
Send photos of the defect to support@aampublic.in with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the issue (close-up, if needed)
  • Brief description of what's wrong

Step 2: We Confirm
Within 24 hours, we'll review and confirm the exchange (or explain why it's outside our policy).

Step 3: Free Pickup
If approved, we'll arrange free pickup from your address. A delivery partner will collect the item within 24–48 hours. Pack it in a clean bag so it doesn't get damaged in transit.

Step 4: We Ship Your Replacement
Once we receive and verify your return, we'll produce and ship your replacement within 2–4 business days.


DAMAGED OR LOST IN TRANSIT

Accidents happen. If your item arrives damaged:

Required:

  • Photos of damage (clear, well-lit)
  • Timestamp showing date/time received
  • Description of damage

Our Response:

  • We'll replace the item at no cost
  • If damage was caused by your carrier, we may file a claim with them
  • We'll send your replacement within 2–4 business days of confirmation

If your item is lost in transit:

  • Report to us immediately with tracking number
  • We'll verify with the carrier and replace your item free of charge
  • Replacement shipped within 2–4 business days

REFUND POLICY

We don't offer refunds. Here's why: Every AAM piece is made-to-order, specifically for you. We can't resell it or pass it on. What we can do is make sure you get exactly what you ordered, in perfect condition.

If there's a manufacturing defect, we exchange it.
If it's damaged in transit, we replace it.
If it's a fit issue, we send a different size.

That's our commitment.


SHIPPING & COSTS

Return shipping: Free (we cover it via pickup)
Exchange shipping: Free (standard India Post, 5–7 days)
Express shipping: If you need your replacement faster, contact us—we'll discuss options


SUSTAINABILITY NOTE

Made-to-order means nothing goes to waste. An exchange doesn't create trash—it just means we keep one item in circulation and produce a new one for you. That's the whole point.

LEGAL FINE PRINT

These terms apply to all purchases from aampublic.in. Sale items are explicitly marked as final sale and cannot be exchanged. By purchasing, you agree to this exchange policy. AAM reserves the right to refuse exchanges that fall outside these parameters or appear to be abuse of the policy.

All exchanges must be initiated within 7 days of delivery. Items returned after this window cannot be accepted.
